The Atlas non-negotiables

Hydration, honesty, and clean fuel — no shortcuts.

Nutrition and training only work when the habits around them are locked in. Miss these and the plan stalls.

Drink 2–3 liters of water daily

Hydration is non-negotiable. Aim for at least 2 liters per day — 3 liters on training days or in hot weather. Water regulates appetite, powers workouts, and clears the byproducts of fat loss.

Electrolytes every day

Sodium, potassium, and magnesium keep you energized, prevent cramps, and reduce false hunger. Add electrolytes to at least one bottle of water daily — especially when cutting calories or sweating.

Skip the alcohol

Alcohol is empty calories that block fat burning, disrupt sleep, tank recovery, and sabotage training. The Atlas Method strongly recommends avoiding it — especially during any fat-loss phase.

Don't lie to yourself

Honest tracking is the method. Log what you actually ate, drank, and skipped — not the version that looks good. Self-deception kills progress faster than a bad week. Face the numbers and the plan can help you.

No mindless snacking

Snacks between meals are where deficits disappear. Eat your planned meals, then stop. If you're hungry between them, drink water, check electrolytes, and wait for the next meal — don't graze.

No junk food

Chips, candy, fast food, and ultra-processed junk blow through calories and wreck hunger signals. Build meals from real food that hits your protein and calories. Treats aren't part of the daily plan.

Guardrails, not gimmicks.

Calorie floors, protein and fat minimums, and safe weekly rate limits are enforced in the plan engine. Atlas Method is not medical advice — you should consult a qualified professional before starting.
